Super Bowl Evening marks the Conclusion of the “American Dream” Topic Series in Q1
During the evening, students gave presentations in English on various aspects of American culture. Topics included the rules of American football, profiles of the two finalists, the Seahawks and the Patriots, as well as a presentation focusing on German-American relations. Especially in light of current political tensions, the importance of the relationship between the two countries was discussed and reflected upon.
The evening was accompanied by a suitable culinary program. Students enjoyed hot dogs in a variety of versions as well as a tiramisu, which was kindly organised by Klosi. Food and drinks were provided free of charge for all students. The costs of the event were shared by Die Auszeit and the school’s support association (Förderverein).
Special thanks go to the Förderverein, whose continued support makes events like this possible and contributes significantly to school life.
The Super Bowl evening provided a successful conclusion to the topic series and offered students an opportunity to combine academic learning with shared experiences that will certainly be remembered.
